Description: What is a panda?

Eating Habits
Panda's; they are cute, with their huge fat bodies, and beautiful contrasted colors, and huge 150 kilogramme big bears which enables it to pretty much rip off your head. But the panda chooses not to. Actually, the Panda is a vegetarian.
The panda eats bamboo only. More specifically, the panda eats in average 19 kg bamboo every day, and spends 11-14 hours to either look for food or eat. A panda also eats dead animals, but mostly just eat bamboo if it's available.

Appearance
The adult giant panda is about 150 cm long from head to bottom. They weigh from 100-150 kg, and the male panda is 10% bigger and 20% heavier than the female. Most pandas are actually black and white, though there are som pandas with a more yellow-toned white color.

Family
Pandas are in  general not territorial, but females will not accept kids and other females in the core of their home range.
Pandas have shown to be poor breeders in captivity, but pandas involved in long-term studies, in their natural habit show to have a productivity rate comparable to the black bear, and is thriving. When pandas mate, males and females associate in no more than 2-4 four days.
